This summer has been a whirlwind. Since I last blogged, the girls graduated from high school, we went to Costa Rica, we went to Crescent Bar one last time (as renters this time) and moved them into WSU. For this post I am going to focus on the graduation. Seems so weird to be blogging about it now with everything that's happened since, but oh well. The ceremony was on June 11th at the ShoWare Center in Kent. Paul's mom came over to our house and then we all rode together to The Cheesecake Factory for a very early dinner/very late lunch around 3:00. Then we got to the venue a little before 5:00 and they went in for all the pre-game stuff and we just waited around until the doors opened at 6:00. None of my family could make it (they all live an hour and a half away and my 91-year-old dad only drives locally) but my best friend since Kindergarten and her son made the trip down, so that was great.
