Before Summer Ends To-dos

Summer is almost over and I still have a list of things I want to do before it's gone:

Take the girls to Rattlesnake Lake (picnic, walk on trails, play in the lake)
Take the girls to Lake Sammamish State Park (picnic, or just play)
Go to the North Bend Farmer's Market (Thursday nights) for live music/picnic dinner
Thursday night concerts in the park in Issaquah (I would do this with a girlfriend, probably)
Issaquah Art Walk (with girlfriends)

I'm rapidly running out of time. The NB Farmer's Market ends next Thursday, and I'm not sure how much longer the concerts and Art Walk go on but I think the concerts may end in the next week or two and the Art Walk maybe not until early October.

We were planning on going to Rattlesnake tomorrow after church, but we may decide to postpone since we got a last minute invite to go to Lake Tapps today and therefore might decide just to lay low tomorrow, but most likely we'll still go. Busy, busy! One of these days we need to tackle our long list of projects...

Transfer Anniversary

Today is the 5-year anniversary of my embryo transfer! 5 years ago today I became pregnant with my girls (I wrote about it in more detail a few years ago). It was a Saturday that year, also. Olivia and Kayley at 3 days post conception (wish I knew which one was which): And Olivia and Kayley 5 years later: That photo is actually a few weeks old. First Snow of 2025

Yesterday it snowed for the first time this year. I love when it snows when I don't have to go anywhere and can just stay home and admire it. It snowed more today, and we took Kona out for a walk in the woods. So pretty.

Senior Prom

Last Friday was the girls' Senior Prom. A whole group of them met at a nearby park for photos, then they broke off into smaller groups and went to dinner and Prom. Olivia and her group rented an Air B&B for the night, and Kayley spent the night at a friend's house with another friend or two.
