The Nelson Narrative

It's New Year's Eve, and normally we would be going to the same friend's house that we've been going to for the last 10 years, but she had to cancel at the last minute, so we are just going to be relaxing at home with popcorn and movies. So, I've hardly blogged all year.  I just haven't been into it at all, but I'm determined to keep this thing going until the girls graduate from high school.  I realized a few weeks ago that I never finished blogging about our Boston/DC trip.  So hopefully I will get to that in the next few days.  Meanwhile, here are a few highlights of our year. The girls turned 14 in February.  We had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory with Paul's mom and a bunch of their friends. Not a great picture but the only one I got In June they graduated from 8th grade and a few days later we went with several other graduates from all 3 middle schools in the district to Boston and DC.  You can read part one here and part two will hopefully be po
