Senior Stuff

This weekend was full of senior activities for the girls.  Saturday evening was the annual Senior Car Parade.  This is a fun tradition that started during Covid. Since there was no graduation ceremony, this was a safe alternative and then it just stuck. It ended up being a beautiful night for it which was so nice. Olivia and two of her friends rode together in one of the friend's dad's pickup, and Kayley rode with 3 of her friends in someone's Jeep.  We actually somehow missed Kayley when she went by, but luckily I was able to steel this photo from the school district's IG. What's Up Wednesday - May 2026

It's the last Wednesday of the month which means it’s time for What's Up Wednesday, hosted by Shay and Sheaffer . What I'm Reminiscing about The girls graduate in 17 days (15 when I publish this) so I've been reminiscing about them being little. What I'm L...

20th Anniversary Trip to Seabrook

May 13 was our 20th anniversary!  We were originally planning on going to Fiji but the girls' graduation trip plans fell through, so we ended up cancelling that and we are taking them to Costa Rica instead.  So for our anniversary celebration, we went to dinner at Alder and Ash and then saw Phantom of the Opera.  This was my third time seeing the musical.  It is my favorite. The next day (Thursday) we left on a little get-a-way to Seabrook--just us and the dog.  Seabrook is a little town on the coast with a cute little town center and most of the homes are Cape Cod style and have names like "Seas the Day", "Sand in the Toes", "Rain Oar Shine", etc. We actually stayed in a tiny little one-bedroom cottage.  It was so cute!  We got there Thursday afternoon, settled in, picked up a pizza and salad for dinner, then took a long walk with the dog down to the beach. On Friday we fixed a nice breakfast in our house then went to the town center and walked around...
