Up until last Thursday I was so proud of myself for not having gotten sick yet, but then I finally did. I felt awful on Thursday but couldn't take the day off because I was helping one of our newer employees with something that was due that day. I probably could have just done that in the morning and taken the rest of the day, but I didn't. Then Friday I felt crappy again but for sure couldn't take that day off (I worked from home both days, though, so not infecting anyone else) because I was covering for someone on PTO. Sigh. By the time the weekend rolled around I was feeling a little bit better but still grateful to have those couple days to rest up. Earlier in the week, before I got sick, I went to a Barre class with Olivia. That was fun but really hard! Well, for me anyway, as I'm not used to doing anything like that. I walk a lot, and I'll do the occasional push-up or a few weights, but that's about it. But I'm trying to change that....
