Happy New Year! I've decided that I'm going to start blogging again in 2026. The last several years have been pretty slow but my goal has always been to keep this thing going until the girls graduate from high school, so I'm determined to do just that (well, I have every intention of continuing beyond that, too). And since I will be amping up my blogging, I'm going to try and beat my previous record of 116 posts in a year. My goal is 120, but 117 or more will suffice.
It should be a fun and exciting year. Paul and I will celebrate our 20th anniversary, the girls will turn 18, graduate from high school and start college, we have a great graduation trip planned for us, and we will be putting our Crescent Bar condo on the market. That last one is sad, but the money will be nice and much needed to help pay for college!
I have a lot of plans and goals for the new year, so I'm very excited to get started!
Today is the 5-year anniversary of my embryo transfer! 5 years ago today I became pregnant with my girls (I wrote about it in more detail a few years ago). It was a Saturday that year, also. Olivia and Kayley at 3 days post conception (wish I knew which one was which): And Olivia and Kayley 5 years later: That photo is actually a few weeks old. I tried to take one for today and this is what I ended up with: {Sigh}
